PCIM Europe 2025—the premier
European trade fair for power electronics systems and components—was held from
6th–8th May at the Nuremberg
Exhibition Centre in Germany. As the world’s largest exhibition for
power-semiconductor technologies, the event drew the industry’s leading
companies and brightest minds to explore the latest advances and R&D
achievements in power-electronics systems. WAYON, a front-runner in circuit
protection and power control, showcased a broad portfolio of innovative
products and solutions that underscored its deep technical strength and
end-to-end progress in scenario-based applications.
Founded in 1996, WAYON has focused on circuit protection and power control. Aligned with the four core themes of PCIM Europe 2025(power electronics, intelligent motion, renewable energy & energy management), the company presented: 200 V/250 V advanced SGT high-power MOSFETs,S-TOLL MOSFETs for high-current applications, 950 V/1050 V (EPI) MOSFETs, fast-recovery VD MOSFETs, 8-/12-inch IGBT modules and discrete IGBTs, thyristors, ultra-fast recovery diodes, fast-acting fuses, self-controlled fuses (SCF), e-Fuses, and MCUs.
These products address industrial, automotive, energy-storage, PV, battery and power-supply markets. Tracing WAYON’s technology roadmap—from foundational circuit-protection devices to super-junction MOSFET breakthroughs, then to MV/LV MOSFETs, IGBTs and 3rd generation semiconductors expanding, and onward to smart-protection ICs, MCUs and ACDC integrated circuits—the company has consistently leveraged technological innovation to expand its product matrix.
WAYON power-supply solutions
were again a focal point. Compliant with China’s new national standards for
lithium-battery chargers, WAYON self-developed charger proposals use the
proprietary AC-DC controller WD1092BAPT and the smart-charging chip
WHA19003F4M7 in a one-stage and half-bridge PFC flyback topology: output 60V/3A,
input 180–240V/AC (165–264 V extended), ≥88 % efficiency, FOM@0.75 and conducted
radiated EMI≥10dB. It co-packaged MOSFET and IC to reduce BOM cost, and the
secondary IC provides OTP, OVP, fan-stall protection and protocol
customization. An intelligent development platform supports both lead-acid and
lithium modes, meets the new national communication protocol and
staged-charging requirements, and offers high efficiency, safety and
flexibility.
Visitors also took keen interest in WAYON universal power-supply building blocks:
FRDs and SiC SBDs covering mid to high-frequency power supply application;
12V–1700V MOSFETs for low-voltage consumer and automotive electronics to high-voltage storage and inverter systems;
CSR of high precision, low TCR and high reliability;
MCU capable of processing all sophisticated control tasks.
Confronting rapid technological change and market opportunities, WAYON is reimagining power electronics roadmap in an ecosystem mindset—transforming individual technical breakthroughs into a systematic product matrix and creating a closed-loop synergy from R&D and design to end applications. By offering comprehensive product and service portfolios, WAYON not only empowers customers but also advances personalized, diversified and intelligent solutions worldwide.
During the exhibition, WAYON engaged in in-depth exchanges with global experts and partners to explore emerging trends. Looking forward, the company remains anchored to customer value: on one hand, continuously sharpening its technological edge to embed indigenous innovation deep within product DNA, and on the other hand, fortifying quality foundations through a full-cycle assurance system spanning quality control and delivery networks, thereby delivering superior products and services to customers worldwide.
